Smack is a Defensive Skill. Upon activating this skill, the user performs a smack move. Any player, bomb or collectible in front of them while smacking will get pushed away, while players will be tripped (unless when equipping Unshakeable) for a while, but won't deal damage, performing a slapping sound on contact. Its range and duration are small, but its cooldown is shorter on every level up, making this skill a very fast way to gain skill points.

When supercharged, Smack will launch players incredibly far and recharges faster.

Smacking a Duck or a player with "duck" in their username or a player wearing an accessory that has "duck" in it will grant the Duck Slap badge as well as the Duck Bomb skill.

The duration of the ragdoll effect is 0.2 seconds, 0.5 seconds, 1 second, and 1.5 seconds in respective order of skill leveling

Tips and Tricks

• The best way to kill somebody with this is by smacking them into a Nuke, lava, or a lot of bombs.
• It is a good skill if you want to rack up skill points. Combined with its short cooldown, it is relatively easy to hit 100 or more points with this skill.
• If you spot a player using this skill, it is best to avoid them as much as possible. Do not stay near pits of lava as they can smack you into them.
• You are able to smack bombs away from you if there is a need for it.
• Smack can be used to free players trapped in ice. However, this applies knockback as well, so it can be risky to help frozen players, depending on the situation.
  • Doing this will grant the Icebreaker badge.
• This can smack a group of players in a AoE fashion. However, it is difficult to pull off, as people tend to split up.
  • Spin around in first person or using Shift Lock to become a smacking whirlwind.
• The hitbox of this skill extends below and above the player. Use this to your advantage while using it.
• Smack can be used to free yourself and others from bubbles.

Trivia

• Smack has the shortest range out of any skill currently in the game.
• It is the only purely melee skill in the game.
• If you smack a Spike Grenade or Caltrop, you will not take damage.
• The supercharged Smack has a different sound effect, sounding much more impactful.
• The slap sound after hitting someone increases in pitch if you manage to smack multiple people or objects in one smack.
• Rarely, if you hit something or someone with this skill, a Vine Boom sound effect will play instead of the normal one.
  • The supercharged version shares the same Vine Boom sound.
